Welcome to the Waste & Recycling Department
Please remember to wear your mask at the Transfer Station.
The Transfer Station will be open regular hours throughout the 2020 holiday season. The only change is that the Transfer Station will open early on December 26th at 7:00 AM and remain open until 12:00 PM.
The Town of Canandaigua has been operating the transfer station facility since 1988. Residents of the Town can dispose of household garbage, recyclables, and food/organic waste at no charge. The transfer station facility will also accept residential construction and demolition debris, some oversized items, and electronics for an additional cost.
