IMPORTANT MESSAGE REGARDING OAK WILT TREE DISEASE
The NYS DEC has announced Oak Wilt disease has been detected in the southern area of the Town of Canandaigua. Oak Wilt is a tree fungus that causes disease in oak trees. This is a serious condition that can quickly spread and kill oak trees. The NYS DEC has issued a press release with more detailed information about the disease and their plan to identify and combat this condition. To read the release, please click here.
