The Town Clerk:
  Maintains official records of adopted ordinances, local laws, oaths of office, etc.
  Issues State licenses and permits to Town residents for the following:
                    Dogs
                    Marriage
                    Games of Chance
                    Handicap Permits
                    Conservation
                    Dump stickers
  Acts as registrar for birth and death certificates.
  Coordinates all Town and general elections.
  Administrator of the Freedom of Information Law.
  Is responsible for Town's record management program.

The Town Clerk does NOT:
  Have copies of deeds on file.


A dog must be licensed after the age of 4 months. In order to obtain a dog license you must present:
Current rabies vaccination certificate
Spayed or Neutering certificate

In order to obtain a marriage license you must present:
A drivers license and birth certificate
All divorce papers and/or a death certificate

2006-2007 Dump permits are being issued. Please bring in registration with current address on it to Town Hall. A copy of your registration can also be mailed to Town Hall and we will send you your permit.


Transfer coupons can be purchased by mail at $2.00 a piece, send in a check
and we'll mail you the coupons.
