The Town Clerk’s Office is pleased to provide the following services to Town residents:

• Maintains official records of adopted ordinances, local laws, oaths of office, etc.
• Issues State licenses and permits to Town residents for the following:
  • Dogs
  • Marriage
  • Games of Chance
  • Handicap Permits
  • Conservation
  • Dump stickers
• Acts as registrar for birth and death certificates.
• Coordinates all Town and general elections.
• Administrator of the Freedom of Information Law.
• Is responsible for Town's record management program.

The Town Clerk does not have copies of deeds on file.

You may now obtain your 2012-2013 Dump permit. See below for more information.

In order to obtain a marriage license you must present:

• A birth certificate with a raised seal
• And one of the following:
  • drivers license
  • current passport
  • non-drivers card
• All divorce papers and/or a death certificate

A dog must be licensed after the age of 4 months. In order to obtain a dog license you must present:

• Current rabies vaccination certificate
• Spayed or neutering certificate

2012-2013 Dump permits are being issued. Please bring in registration with current address on it to Town Hall. A copy of your registration can also be mailed to Town Hall and we will send you your permit.

A coupon machine is available at the recycling center. Transfer coupons can also be purchased by mail at $2.00 a piece. Send in a check and we will mail you the coupons.
