First Meeting of Town Cemetery Committee

On May 16, 2022, the Canandaigua Town Board adopted Local Law No. 2 of 2022, officially creating a Town Cemetery Committee. The Committee is tasked with overseeing operation and maintenance of seven current Town cemeteries, as well as researching, documenting, preserving, and increasing public awareness of the historical value of cemeteries through educational programs and events. Cemetery Committee meetings are open to the public and anyone interested in volunteering or learning more are encouraged to attend. An organizational meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 25 at 10:00 a.m. at the Canandaigua Town Hall, located at 5440 Route 5 & 20, Canandaigua, NY 14424, in the lower-level Oriana Conference Room or by Zoom.
