TOWN OF CANANDAIGUA CELEBRATES ARBOR DAY WITH TWO TREE PLANTINGS AT TWO TOWN PARKS

(Canandaigua, NY) - The Town of Canandaigua values our community forest and all the benefits that come with planting more trees. The Town’s volunteer Tree Team and the Environmental Conservation Board will be celebrating trees and the 150th anniversary of Arbor Day with two tree planting events at two Town Parks. Come to one or both to help us celebrate!

Friday, April 29 at 10am at West Lake School House Park

3650 County Road 16, Canandaigua, NY 14424

We will be planting a sugar maple tree in honor of two generous donors.

Saturday, April 30 at 1pm at Richard P. Outhouse Park

2550 Outhouse Road, Canandaigua, NY 14424

We will be planting four trees—crabapple and sugar maple—and honoring several local girl scout troops who have generously raised money together to purchase trees and donate them to the Town.
