PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Canandaigua Town Board will be conducting a public hearing on the 2022 Preliminary Budget, including general Town funds, highway funds, special district funds and fire protection funds on Monday, October 18, 2021, commencing at 6:00 p.m. in the lower level Onnalinda Conference Room of the Canandaigua Town Hall, located at 5440 Routes 5 & 20 West, Canandaigua, New York. This meeting will also be available by Zoom at this link: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZYqc-GtqTotH92PBu15q7_hCirh9kEvA6VV . Pre-registration is required. All persons of interest will be heard at this time and date.
 
The following are the proposed 2022 salaries of elected Town officers:
 
Supervisor                               $20,000
Town Board Member(s)            $5,371
Town Clerk                              $69,083
(Elected Town Clerk $66,583, Appointed Registrar of Vital Statistics $2,500)
Highway Superintendent          $106,520
(Elected Highway Superintendent $54,500, Appointed Water Superintendent $52,020)
Town Justice(s)                        $26,453

 
A copy of the 2022 Preliminary Budget has been posted to the Town’s website and may be viewed in the Canandaigua Town Clerk’s office during normal business hours (8:00 am to 4:00 pm and until 5:30 pm each Wednesday).
