Free Rabies Clinic for Ontario County Residents

Ontario County Public Health 2017 Rabies Prevention Clinic Reminder

Canandaigua Town Clerk Jean Chrisman wishes to remind Ontario County residents of the next Ontario County Public Health free Rabies Prevention Clinic that will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Geneva Hydrant Hose Co, 79 Geneva Street, Geneva.  Every dog, cat, and ferret in Ontario County is required to be vaccinated against rabies at all times because there has been documented rabies within the County. The clinic is free but donations are appreciated.  Residents are reminded that their dog, cat, and/or ferret must be at least three (3) months old and in good health.  Please bring your pets past rabies certificate and each pet must be on a leash or in a carrier (one pet per carrier). Any questions, please contact the Ontario County Public Health at (585) 396-4343.
