Applications for Seasonal Part-Time Parks Maintenance Assistant Now Being Accepted
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, the Town of Canandaigua Parks and Recreation Department is now accepting applications for a seasonal, part-time Parks Maintenance Assistant available from April to the end of October. This is a working supervisory position involving routine manual work. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as the lead supervisor of a small crew, performing routine landscaping and general maintenance tasks, and an understanding of how to safely operate a variety of equipment such as trucks, tractors, mowers, saws, weed eaters, and other items. Must be willing to work flexible hours, including some weekends and possess a valid NYS driver’s license. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older. The position is up to 30 hours/week.
