Parks Maintenance Assistant - Seasonal, Part-Time available from April to the end of October
This is a working supervisory position involving routine manual work. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as the lead supervisor of a small crew, performing routine landscaping and general maintenance tasks, and an understanding of how to safely operate a variety of equipment such as trucks, tractors, mowers, saws, weed eaters, and other items. Must be willing to work flexible hours, including some weekends and possess a valid NYS driver’s license. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older. The position is up to 30 hours/week. Lifeguards are needed to work at the Town’s Onanda Park and the West Lake Road Schoolhouse Park from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Applicants age 16 and older are preferred and must have their updated waterfront lifeguard certification and CPR certification..
Gate Attendants are needed to work at the Town’s Onanda Park. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age and must be able to work Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.
Seasonal Park Laborer: Applicant must be 18 years old or older. Should have a background in landscaping and be available to work from April 1 to October 31, 30 hours a week, pay rate $11 to $15 per hour.
