Land Acquisition Possible Town Park(s)

 

The Town of Canandaigua is currently exploring the purchase of land for public lake access to Canandaigua Lake.  The addresses of the parcels currently being considered are 4351 Tichenor Point Drive and 3950 County Road 16.  Town Board meeting agendas, contact information, and log in instructions are avaliable here.

4351 Tichenor Point Drive

Update: As of April 14, 2021 the Town Manager was notified the property at 4351 Tichenor Point Drive is slated to close selling to a private buyer by the end of Apriil 2021.  No additional informaiton is avaliable at this time. (4/14/21)

Please note the Town Manager on March 15, 2021 was notified by a representative of the seller of 4351 Tichenor Point Drive that the seller of the property had accepted a purchase offer on the parcel.  It was communicated to the Town Manager that while closing had not yet taken place, the representative of the seller felt a closing would take place fairly quickly with the buyer of the property.  No additional information is avaliable relating to the purchase or the sale between the buyer and the seller.  To be clear, the Town is not the purchaser; and the Town had nothing to do with the purchase agreement between the buyer and the seller.  (3/15/21)
