The Landfill Transfer & Recycling
Station accepts: clear
glass: jars, pop bottles, clear & Colored Glass needs to be separated and
put in the appropriate bins. colored

store fliers, "Shoppers Guide" type ads, news print used for packing.

Landfill Transfer & Recycling Station does NOT accept: milk
cartons, drink boxes or pizza boxes (due to containing perishable contents).

disposal of Hazardous Waste. Permits and Coupons:
Transfer and recycling is available with permit only for Town
of Canandaigua Residents. Permits are available at the Town Clerk's office with
proof of residency. Registration needed for vehicle using facility.
Coupon Items: Coupons are available to town residents
from the Town Clerk during the hours of 8:00am - 4:00pm Monday through Friday.
Coupons are $2.00 each. 1 Coupon= 1 car tire,
1 overstuffed chair 2 Coupons= 1 couch, 1 truck tire
If your item isn't listed here please talk to one of the attendants. If
you have excessive amounts of demolition and construction materials to remove,
please refer to your local yellow page listings for sources renting roll-offs.
